We did a trip to Villers Bretonneux to visit the hero's of the 1st world war .

] It was not easy we did it on public transport . We caught the train from Gare de Nord to Amiens then another train to Villers Bretonneux .We did find out the hard way no uber in that area so we did the walk 3.1km to the Australian National Memorial . Once we did get there the staff there were excellent in every way . We got to see our heroes and also I hope the footage I caught for others to view to see there hero's . It's not a an easy place to get to or home from if you are not on an organized tour . We ended up getting taxi back Amiens for the cost of 50 euros . I do suggest hiring a car if not on an organized tour it's not for the fiend hearted the walk is ok from the station but not for everyone . I hope people get something out of this however I can only do what I can do I'm sure I missed things but it was an experience I do recommend if you have the chance .

from Gare de Nord to Villers Bretonneux 105 euros for two people - taxi back to Amiens was 50 euros cash but worth it
