Our plan for the day was to fly from North Tirol to Italy.
The forecast predicted good spring thermals and decent northerly wind, which we hoped, would push us across the main ridge of the Alps. Cloud base was low, when we arrived at the end of Fuscher Valley and there wasn't enough wind for us to soar up Brennkogel. We tried several times, but unfortunately didn't make it across the plateau next to the road. A friendly couple took us back to Bruck train station by car.
Will try again another time; hopefully with better thermals and a bit more wind...
