Paul Kossoff's rhythm guitar work on Free's 1970s hit "All Right Now" is simply fascinating. There is a certain elusive quality to this particular guitar riff which is very hard to replicate. In this video we will break down the guitar parts and try to understand what makes it so special.
I had to cut the first few seconds of the video where I played the song with just a drum backing track because the content ID bot decided to go Terminator on me..
It's funny because the automatic CoPyRiGhT CuT tOol (TM) left the first attack and the tail end of the riff, so if it looks like something is missing, it's because it is. Needless to say, I am less than amused.
EN subtitles available.
Dedicated to my good friend Fil "SoloDallas" Olivieri, from whom I learned the true ways of Rock 'n' Roll, and to Chris Moiny and Franz Farklas, who always give me support.
