Noodler's King Philip Requiem - Ink Profile

In this video I review Noodler's King Philip Requiem by showing you writing samples on: Tomoe Paper 68 + 52 gsm, Clairefonaine 90 g, CVS Caliber and Rhodia 80 gsm paper plus Midori. This King Philip Requiem ink is a limited re-release this time in a 22 bottles containing 16 ounces each. It was originally (I think) released in 2015 -- here is Nathan's video - it has some fascinating history -- he starts talking about this ink at 2:11 but the whole video was something I found to be fun:

Requiem = mass for the dead. King Philip/Metacom was leader of the Wampanoag tribe and this ink memorializes him. That's my understanding.

My understanding is that his ink is one that Noodler's/Nathan releases limited amounts due to the materials/supply to make it - but do listen to his video I learned so much and it was fun seeing the other labels on the other 2 inks released that year.
I have a sentimental attachment to this ink because it was my pen friend Christene's favorite ink or one of her favorites and she passed away. The ink and saved pen pal letters connect us beyond the "physical" + limited time I had to get to know her. It was so cool to see that she had inquired on Nathan's video about the possible availability of the ink in the mid-west.
Quick Summary of the ink: my likes: vibrant unique color, highly saturated, history, connection to my pen friend, water resistance, great on Tomoe River paper. my dislikes: only available in big 16 ounce bottle right at this time anyway and is limited, bleeding on some papers, possible feathering if you get onto certain paper - I only saw a bit of spread here and there but I was on really hearty paper.
