Our ergonomic team designed and built this manipulator arm and end effector tool to grip and lift crucibles of molten copper. The arm features a powder coated steel frame, vertical limit stops, 360-degrees of non-continuous rotation with a pneumatic brake at the mast, and 330-degrees of rotation with a pneumatic brake at the primary arm. The tool features 360-degrees of non-continuous rotation with friction brake, a powder coated steel frame, heat shield, stainless steel grip jaws, high temperature hoses, ergonomic handlebars with grip/release/common button controls, proportional up/down controls, and parking brake controls.
