Chelan County Mountain Rescue, a 2023 SAR Award winner, was selected for their incredible skill while rescuing a hiker who became pinned beneath a refrigerator sized boulder in the Enchantments.
The Chelan County team, in a multi-agency collaboration, raced against time to free the hiker without causing further injury and rendezvous with heli-evac in high winds.
