Velocity® Non-Walk-In- Rescue – Magnolia, TX

Walk around Magnolia Fire Department’s Velocity® Non-Walk-In HDR with Captain Dennis Levasseur. With a rural service area with long transports across 182 square miles, a RVAC unit was added in the crew cab which is also hooked up to a diesel generator. The crew cab also houses dual monitors for command rescue. Technical rescue and extrication tools will be stored in the compartment closest to the driver’s side to allow quick equipment access. A PTO air compressor was added to run air tools directly off the truck. The roof of the apparatus contains a specific compartment to store all 4x4 wood-shoring. Receiver hitches were installed on both sides and rear for a portable winch and the front bumper contains a 15,000 lb winch with additional anchor points.
