Knit a Froggy Friend - Circular Knitting Machine Project

How to make Mr. Hoppers a new froggy friend circular knitting machine pattern.
This pattern Is a bit more advanced- there are some extra steps in the sewing to make it really special. None of the steps are hard they just take a bit more time and patience. Our new froggy friend is made with simple tubes that were knitted on a 22 Needle Circular Knitting Machine (Sentro/Addi).
The tubes are stitched together with a mattress stitch and filled with crafter's polyfill toy stuffing.
The eyes are super fun and and really soecial. The eyes done differently than any other knitting machine patterns. They are made more like eyes for hand puppets- kind of like Kermit the frog.
The arms and legs are shaped after they are knit to give this project so much personality! (This is the step that takes more desterity and patience as we are really sculpting the tubes into mulitpart arms or legs.
I love that the pattern (recipe) can be modified to make all kinds of fun creations!

Tools and Materials:
22 needles Circular Knitting Machine in Tube Mode
Clippy Stitch Markers
Darning Needle
Embroidery Needle
Scissors

#4 Worsted Yarn
(I used Lion Brand Wool Ease for the body, Red Heart Super Saver for the Eye Balls and Swim Trunks)
Safety Eyes or Embroidery Floss
Poly Fill Toy Stuffing

Mr. Hoppers Friend Pattern & Instructions:
Body make 2 - 30 row tube
Arms make 2 - 20 row tube
Legs make 2 - 25 row tube
Eye Balls make 2 - 5 row tube
