🎓 Classical Conditioning – Pavlov’s Most Famous Learning Theory Explained!
Classical Conditioning is a core concept in psychology, developed by Ivan Pavlov in the early 1900s. It explains how we learn through association — when two stimuli occur together repeatedly, our brain starts linking them.
🐶 Pavlov noticed dogs salivated not only at food but even at footsteps or the lab assistant! Through his experiments, he discovered:
🔹 Unconditioned Stimulus (UCS): Food
🔹 Unconditioned Response (UCR): Salivation
🔹 Neutral Stimulus (NS): Bell (no reaction initially)
🔹 Conditioned Stimulus (CS): Bell after pairing with food
🔹 Conditioned Response (CR): Salivation upon hearing the bell
This pairing process forms a learned response, known as Classical Conditioning.
📌 Where do we see this today?

✔ Emotional reactions
