Can you believe I am the first person on YouTube to do a drum cover of this song?! This has been on my list for a long time and I finally mustered up enough courage to give it a try. I'm a huge Silverchair fan and ‪@BenGillies888‬ put down an amazing drum track. It's got a very heavy groove with a lot of moving parts; especially with the hi-hat barks throughout the song. The swing and feel during the solo...pure awesomeness!

If I was going to cover this track the way I wanted, I knew I needed some killer sound and luckily, I was able to get a clean drumless backing track courtesy of LALAL.AI. As for the kit, I started with the preset from the Silverchair "Straight Lines" cover as the base and went through it tweaking just about everything. Really happy with the snare sound! Hope you guys enjoy this one...it's definitely in my top 5!

If I have any complaint on this cover, it would be that I left the door open to the unfinished section of my basement. When I got to the footage from that camera, I was kicking myself and I DID NOT want to reshoot everything again. So angry! 🤣
