We tested many detectors over the years to see if they can hear a Civil War bullet underneath this Culpeper VA rock that is heavily mineralized / full of Iron. I have been trying this test for years using the same rock and until now, no VLF/Multi frequency detectors were able to discriminate hearing a Civil War bullet underneath this rock. The Manticore, D2 and Tarsacci MDT 8000 passed the test. We recently tested the following good metal detectors and none of them were able to hear the bullet under the rock while in discriminate mode. AT Pro, AT Max, CTX3030, E-Trak, Equinox 800, Legend, Simplex and Sovereign.
