It's funny - when Spirit came out I kind of bypassed it having listened to it a couple of times. None of the songs really worked for me, and the production was still HORRIBLE. But now having remixed a couple of songs off "Spirit" I've noticed the songs themselves aren't really that bad, i.e. they could've been good (not great, though) with the right producer.
Anyway, as always, I hope you like it - maybe listen to it as a case study along with other non-official remixes of the track and find the actually really nice tune that's hidden under the lackluster, by-the-numbers boring production.
