• Every Ethnic Group, One Stage
Nepal’s rich mosaic of communities—from Gurung and Kirat to Newar and more—came together to share their heritage through traditional costumes, dances, and tableaux .

• A New Twist: Korean Cultural Exchange
One of the standout moments of this year’s mela was the participation of the Korean community, who joined us in celebrating Nepalese culture and added their own unique flair to the festivities.

• Spotlight on Newar Culture
As a proud Newar, I joined my community, performed traditional dances, and shared the vibrant rituals and art forms of Newah heritage—showcasing what makes it so special.

• History of Pasa Puchah Guthi UK
I also take you through the founding of Pasa Puchah Guthi UK, established in November 2000 to preserve and promote Newah culture among Nepalese in the UK . Today, PPGUK includes over 1,500 members across four UK branches, organizing festivals like Mha Puja, Yomari Punhi, Indra Jatra, and cultural workshops .
