Despite previous operations to clear these areas, enforcement now appears weak. The absence of the PERA Force from the ground has raised concerns, as no effective action is being seen against those occupying public spaces illegally. Footpaths and service roads meant for pedestrians and smooth traffic flow are now blocked by unauthorized setups.

Citizens have expressed frustration and fear, stating that the situation is returning to its worst form. Many are questioning where the enforcement agencies are and why no strict measures are being taken. The growing encroachment issue not only affects traffic and safety but also reflects poor governance and lack of monitoring, demanding immediate attention from the authorities.
