In this video, I walk through how to install and use RustHound-CE, a fast and stealthy BloodHound collector written in Rust.
We compare it to the traditional BloodHound Python ingestor, cover installation on Linux, and demonstrate collection using both NTLM and Kerberos. I also highlight why RustHound is becoming a strong alternative — especially with its support for Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) data, which the Python version lacks.
Should you drop the Python collector entirely? Probably not — but using RustHound first can save time, avoid detection, and give you key insights faster.
