A picturesque two-hectare landscaped park featuring a variety of amenities, the Capital Town Rainwater Park has been engineered with design and functionality in mind. During the dry, summer season, it serves as a convergence point for residents and those visiting the 35.6-hectare Capital Town, bringing together several leisure and recreational offerings, such as landscaped gardens with colorful blooms, a man-made lagoon with water fountains, a mini football field, children’s playground, amphitheater, belvedere, and a viewing deck.
During the rainy season, meanwhile, the park collects rainwater and reuses it to water the lush foliage in the area and refill the water reservoir. In case of heavy rains, the Rainwater Park helps mitigate flooding within the surrounding areas by collecting rainwater before gradually releasing it to the nearby Santo Niño Creek.
