09.26.2022 | 1:05 AM | HOLLYWOOD - A CHP officer rear ended a suspect after the suspect crashed into an innocent victim after a high speed pursuit through the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood.
Officers attempted to stop the driver for an unknown reason off the 405 freeway.
The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and entered the Hollywood area.
The innocent victim was sitting at the red light when the suspect came around the corner at a high rate of speed and lost control, striking his Range Rover SUV.
Somehow, the CHP officer in pursuit rear ended both vehicles.
A beer bottle was seen on the ground near the scene of the termination.
Field sobriety tests were performed and the driver will be facing DUI charges.
LAFD responded to the scene and transported the suspect for unknown injuries.
The innocent victim and the pair of CHP officers in the crashed patrol car were all uninjured.
