Today, I cover a simple fix to a common problem on the Mercury Mariner, Mazda Tribute, Ford Focus & Ford Escape. The problem is when you turn the key to the start position, nothing happens. Sometimes giggling or pushing on the key allows it to start and other times, it doesn't.
The problem lies in the ignition lock assembly. This is how to take care of it.
