korea vlog (vol. 03) 🌷🇰🇷 ₊˚⊹♡ driving to sokcho, lotte resort sokcho, kbbq & more!

hi guys! happy third vlog of our trip to korea!!

this video is from our first day in sokcho, south korea.

we started the day off with some fun things in seoul (please wait for the next vlog ;) it was really cool), and then got in the car to make the ~2 hour drive from seoul up to sokcho! i got to visit a korean freeway stop for the first time as well. it was super high-tech and there were also so many yummy food options! a few of the stores shut down during covid and hadn't reopened yet, but we got some churros and also stopped by dunkin donuts. it was really foggy outside throughout our drive, and it was also a little bit rainy. but! at least it was raining on the day we drove a lot~ originally the weather forecast said there might be a typhoon throughout our whole trip so i was worried haha.

when we arrived in sokcho, we checked into our hotel, which was lotte resort sokcho. honestly it might have been the fanciest hotel i've ever seen in my life! it was like an apartment (honestly would live there permanently). inside the hotel, there was a water park, an infinity pool, a karaoke room, a convenience store, a lotteria, a photobooth, a game zone, and a bar! so much to do & i think i could just spend a whole week there and not feel bored at all.

we also grabbed some kbbq + bingsu at twosome place with yun's cousin's family~ i had so much fun haha ^^

sokcho was so relaxing compared to the fast-paced schedule we had in seoul, and i really enjoyed it! i totally recommend visiting if you ever visit korea, and i can't wait to go back :)
