Small Livestock Working Chute~Part 3~A Stop Gate

Here’s a stop gate that I added at the back of the Livestock Working Chute that I made out of Pallets. This will allow me to stop them from backing out of the chute, when I work them. I made it from materials I had around the homestead, and I’ll walk you through the process.

This will work for either sheep or goats, and should reduce their stress… and mine. I won’t have to be wrestling my sheep as often now.

If I had bought it, this gate would have cost me almost $200. But, it cost almost nothing... because of the materials I had on hand.
