Good test run of my Duotone E Type 6.6 2019 in very variable winds at Portland Harbour. The wind was mostly c 18 to 20kts but there were also quite a few heavy lulls so plugged the sail into my 128 Rocket Wide Ltd ( 44cm fin). I found the recommended settings unusually wrong. The sail is set with about 2cm more outhaul and downhaul than the max recommended settings. The difference between a light wind set and stronger winds is one click on the Duotone XT extension and 0.5cm outhaul. The sail has plenty of spring to pump for early planning and stays totally stable on the higher wind setting even with gusts of 25/26 kts coming through. Being a bit small for the 128 it was not easy to keep enough power on during the gybe for a planning exit unless the wind was at the stronger end.
