In this episode of Brum Eats, I head out into Birmingham city centre during the festive period to work Deliveroo and Uber Eats and see what the run-up to Christmas is really like for riders.

It’s the last Saturday before Christmas, and between busy streets, festive crowds, spotting Santa in New Street Station, bumping into Ozzy the Bull, rejected long-distance orders, and a few mild panic moments, this one quickly becomes about judgement calls rather than grinding for numbers.

Nothing dramatic.
No crashes.
No hero earnings.

Just an honest snapshot of food delivery in Birmingham in December, complete with Christmas jumpers, city landmarks, and the kind of random encounters you only get delivering through town at this time of year.
