One common reflection we hear from traders is: "I would be more patient if I started over".

Many AXIA traders report that if they went back in time, they would aim to be more patient and build steadily. The advice they would give to their younger self would be to start with one thing and then add to that. Trying to do everything in a short period of time is not the best way forward as it can be overwhelming and does not give you the space to develop the depth you need.

If Richard were to start over, his approach would be to focus on Basic Technical Analysis principles, then the Market Profile for context, and then the Price Ladder to understand the price personality of the market. The other big domain is to become proficient and strong in your Debriefing Skills. A good debrief answers questions such as "what are the type of trades I take?" and "what are the type of trades where I make money and those where I lose money?"

The key message is, don't rush, but rather take the time to hone your skills, one by one with patience.
