That time of year again in southern California to clear defensible space. Video start with a brief overview of what properly cleared vegetation looks like. Then I turn my attention to a thicket of laurel Sumac that has grown out of control and start the process of thinning it out.
Tool used is a Stihl FS-131R trimmer with the HL-KM 145 degree Adjustable hedge clipper head attachment. Not a cheap combination of tooling, but it has quickly proved it's worth.
