In this episode we will show you how to replace the shifter slide cover around the transmission shift lever on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The dust filter strip is not a critical part of the cars operations but does keep dust, dirt, and other objects like food, jewelry, and coins from falling down into the lever operations and junking things up or even causing them not work properly. The job is on the easy scale with the hardest part being finding the actual replacement strip. We had to go to a local pick-n-pull junk yard to find the part.
