❄️ THE RESCUE: In the unforgiving wilderness of Yakutia, where temperatures drop low enough to freeze breath instantly, Ivan finds two orphaned brown bear cubs shivering beside their mother’s frozen body. Instead of leaving them to nature, he makes a life-changing decision: he takes the predators into his cabin.

🐻 THE BOND: For months, he acts as their mother—feeding them warm milk by the fire and teaching them to survive the brutal taiga. But bears belong in the wild. Eventually, he has to make the heartbreaking choice to release them back into the forest, assuming he will never see them again.

⚠️ THE RETURN: Three years pass. One day, while tracking elk deep in the woods, Ivan finds himself surrounded and outmatched by a pack of starving timber wolves. With no ammo left and nowhere to run, he prepares for the end. Suddenly, the trees crash open. Two massive shapes emerge from the mist. They haven't forgotten him.
