"Spaghetti Napolitan" is a Japanese-style spaghetti dish (often simply called "Napolitan").
It is distinct from the Italian spaghetti dishes in that the main seasoning is tomato ketchup, and the noodles are stir-fried after boiling. It is very popular both with kids and adults.
In this video, I tried to make Napolitan with "non-boiled spaghetti". The non-boiled spaghetti has more chewy texture and I found it very good. You can use boiled pasta with the same ingredients, so please try out both versions!
■Ingredients■
[3 servings]
300g spaghetti
I used 1.7mm in the video, but I recommend thicker spaghetti (2.0mm or more if possible)
120g sausages ([or] ham or bacon)
2 green peppers ([or] paprika)
1/2 onion (about 120g)
300g canned tomato
6tbsp tomato ketchup
1tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1tbsp sugar
15g butter
