"Masks"

I haven't been honest for a while. For over a year I've hidden behind masks to shield the outside from seeing past my facade. For over a year, I told you, and myself that I was fine. For over a year I let the darkness take root inside my brain and slowly erode at my sanity. For over a year, I haven't been...me...

I come to you on December 15th, 2018, to tell you I finally overcame this long battle with the darkness inside, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like me.

This video was primarily created as a form of cathartic release for me, but wanted to post it:

1. To show more of myself to all of you, and break down the barrier I held up to others for so long.

2. To apologize (in some way) to everyone, and myself for how crappy I've been for so long.

3. To help anyone who may be going through the same issues I've had. You are so much more than what the inner demons tell you.

4. To help push myself to do better for me, and this channel. No more false promises, things WILL change for the better now going forward.

To anyone who knows/ has dealt with issues like this, please do not be afraid to speak up. I kept my mouth shut for so long out of fear of inconveniencing others, ridicule, and because I didn't want to admit I had a problem. Do not make the same mistake I did, do not waste nearly a quarter of your life away avoiding working towards your potential because of fear, self-doubt, or lack of confidence. You are better than what the darkness inside your head tells you.
