Being the child of a parent who has narcissistic personality disorder will destroy you as you grow up if you are not aware and you allow what you heard to stay with you.

"The hard working baby" The child has to fight to be seen or heard.
The only feelings that matter are the parent's feelings. Your feelings were not even noticed.
The child consistently has to fight for any and all attention as the parent is the only one allowed to have problems of feelings. This video talks about this syndrome and also about how people might begin to free themselves from this type of suffering existence in their own adult relationships.
