When we talk about the European influence in Puerto Rico, of course Spain comes up
and for good reason. However European influences were not limited to just Spain alone. In fact European influence in Puerto Rico actually Included several other countries. Prominent among them were the Portuguese, Corsicans, and the French. And to a lesser extent, the Irish, and even some Germans. Overtime all of these groups blended into the main Puerto Rican population and contributed in their own way to the culture and identity on the island. Many continue to still come to settle on this enchanted island till this day.
