Have you ever thought about visiting a zoo in Hawaii? There's only one: the Honolulu Zoo. It's the perfect place for a day trip to learn about and encounter animals from all over the world
The Honolulu Zoo is a 42-acre zoo in the Kapiolani Park, Honolulu. (Honolulu is the capital and most populous city in Hawaii.) It has recently been designated as a certified wildlife conservation park by the Zoological Association of America, and one of the top zoos in the world by Trip Advisor. Currently, it holds 1,230 animals from 145 species, and was opened to the public on December 23, 1922.
