Silver Cities of the Australian Outback - Silverton, Broken Hill and Leaving New South Wales behind.

Part 3 and the final video of my drive along the Barrier Highway, taking me to the border of New South Wales and South Australia. In this video I look around Broken Hill before heading to the Outback town of Silverton.

Silverton is famous for it's desert landscapes, Mad Max 2 filming locations and the now iconic Silverton Hotel. Broken Hill is possibly the most famous Australian mining town, having given rise to BHP (The largest mining company in the world). Today the town is the perfect stop over for travelers driving across Australia.
