🎬 KDP VAT Added To List Price On Amazon UK And EU Platforms For Some Low Content Books & Coloring Books - PRICE INCREASE! KDP NEWS!

The email from KDP:
We are adding a new feature in the “Royalty and Pricing” section of your KDP account.Starting September 12, in the “Royalty and Pricing” section of your KDP account, an estimated Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to the list price you set for your books. This will allow you to see an estimated list price including tax alongside the list price excluding tax that you set. This will apply for Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.es, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.nl, Amazon.pl, and Amazon.se.
The VAT rate applied to Amazon EU and UK stores varies depending on the type of book (notebooks, coloring books, etc.), the purchasing customer’s location and local VAT laws.
As a reminder, your royalties are calculated using the List Price that you set for your book, which excludes VAT. The applicable VAT inclusive customer retail price will appear on the “Order Summary” during checkout.
Please note you may see the List Price including tax for your books change over time.
To check the pricing of your titles, please visit your bookshelf.
