Ebay 60000V Voltage Multiplier Review, Double Setup, Some Sparks and Stuff

Probably if these multipliers are immersed in oil or potted in wax they may give out a bit more, but there's no absolute need for that, i hoped for 20cm of jump but noooooohhhh if it jumps 8+cm when single it will jump 16+cm double!!! Not sure if the water resistor robs something, but probably not

Have yourself an opinion, the cost is around 18€ shipped (for one), the equivalent cost of the same components seem to be there, plus the PCB, also consider that especially the capacitors have an exponential price, for the same amount of capacity and double the rated voltage you need four times the amount of ceramic, so building a bigger multiplier may be REALLY expensive

This may be anyways useful for static electricity experiments or other stuff, of course you don't need to use it at full voltage, 60kV is the limit, but you need a complete setup, also keep in mind that a ZVS driver may be excessive and hard to adjust voltage-wise and frequency-wise, i tried with a CCFL driver from a PC monitor and the power instead was too low, but the AC transformer here needs to generate a maximum of 2500V peak, and that's easily achievable
