The Hubballi–Kochuveli Superfast Express is an Express train belonging to South Western Railway zone that runs between Hubli Junction and Kochuveli.It began operations as KOCHUVELI YESWANTHAPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS express and later extended to Hubbali.It is currently being operated with 12777/12778 train numbers on a weekly basis..It has inconvenient timings and since the day of running is not suitable,It mostly runs empty.

Both trains are hauled by a Hubballi Loco Shed-based WDP-4D diesel locomotive from Hubballi to Banaswadi. From Yesvantpur train is hauled by an Erode WAP-7 electric locomotive to Kochuveli and vice versa.

Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji – Hubballi Junction commonly known as SSS Hubballi Junction railway station or Hubli Junction railway station (Station code: UBL), is a railway junction station under Hubli railway division of South Western Railway zone (SWR) of Indian Railways situated in Hubli, Karnataka, India. The platform number 1 of Hubli Junction has a length of 1,505 metres, making it the longest railway platform in the world as of March 2021.
Hubli Junction is center place for transportation of public and commercial in Karnataka by connecting northwest to Mumbai (460 kilometres (290 mi)), west to Goa (160 kilometres (99 mi)), South to Bengaluru (410 kilometres (250 mi)) and east to Hyderabad (450 kilometres (280 mi)) with heavy mass transportation.
It is the busiest railway station in Karnataka after Bengaluru City. The Hubli division situated in Hubli city connects Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Goa and more.
Commercial goods like Manganese are the main source of income and public transport is another source of income. Currently, Hubli Junction is undergoing remodeling work to have World's Longest Railway Platform with a length of 1505 metres.
The Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway opened the 130.02 kilometres (80.79 mi) Hubli–Harihar rail line on 18 October 1886. And Hubli–Londa, Hospet–Hubli and Chikjajur–Hubli (part of 469 kilometres (291 mi) Bangalore–Hubli) rail lines were converted during 1995.

Kochuveli railway station (also known as Thiruvananthapuram North railway station) (station code: KCVL) is a satellite passenger railway terminus of Thiruvananthapuram city in the Indian state of Kerala. It is being developed to ease congestion at Thiruvananthapuram Central. The Kochuveli railway station is located towards the north of the city, approximately at a distance of 8 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram city. The Kochuveli railway station is located near to NH-66 Thiruvananthapuram City bypass.
The railway station was opened in 2005. The station has two entrances, eastern side and western side. The eastern side has the satellite terminal from where the trains originating from Kochuveli operate and the old railway station is situated on the western side. Currently, 16 long-distance express trains and one passenger train operate from the station. Kochuveli railway station connects passengers to important cities of India.
Some trains presently operating from Thiruvananthapuram Central, including the Sabari Express, will commence the journey from Kochuveli railway station once the station is completely developed. Kochuveli railway station also caters to special trains during busy seasons. The trains from here are to Amritsar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Secunderabad, Hubli, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Mumbai, Nilambur, Sri Ganganagar and Nagercoil.
