Below are some of the key elements of lot grading:
1. Typical slopes for driveways: 2-12%
2. Typical slopes for side yard swales (away from building): 1-15%
3. Typical slope for lot line: 1-3%

It is important to note that the example in the video is in Florida, where elevations are closer to sea-level. Also, there is not as much change in elevation differences in Florida compared to areas like Colorado.
