Wendi Adelson’s ex-boyfriend, Jeffrey Lacasse, took the stand on Tuesday morning, where he revealed a crucial piece of evidence by recalling a conversation he had with Adelson. During that conversation, she stated that her brother, Charlie, had looked into options to “get rid of” her ex-husband, Dan Markel, including hiring a hitman. Lacasse testified that the remark made him uncomfortable and caused his “stomach to flip.”
