"I Stand Alone" from Godsmack's "Faceless" album (2003).
What a blast from the past, this one... I used to listen to this one and Serenity, so so much as a kid. I can't believe I'm covering Godsmack for the first time ever, in 2025 lol. There is an official isolated bass track so the transcribing was easy. Recording that bridge was eh, not easy. It was originally recorded with the freshest of strings and the strings were plucked very gently. I wasn't interested in that and so I went for a slightly aggressive approach. The outro riff (and also the main guitar riff) is such a simple one, but it's perfect. Have fun!
