Visited Carthage Restaurant for a set lunch in Hammamet.
We enjoyed the selection of dips as a starter and the mains - chickpeas with lamb and chicken pasta - were tasty, but as they had been cooked before and kept warm, they weren't piping hot. There was also no rice or carbs (other than bread) which accompanied the chickpea dish.
We were meant to be getting cheesecake and fruit (according to the menu written on the board outside the restaurant) but we only got a couple of cups of sad-looking, diced-up fruit :(
Other than the dessert, the food was tasty, though the price point was higher than the restaurant we visited the previous day. The total was 50 TND which around £12.
They said they accepted card payments, but sadly the signal wasn't working when we came to pay. Thankfully we had cash!
