Megatron Was Basically Naked in Transformers 2007. 1 of the most unique concepts in Transformers lore would have to be Protoforms. Which are base forms or endoskeletons of Cybertronians. We've seen this look many times throughout the Bayverse films. Where the Autobots and Decepticons immediately begin scanning for new alternate forms upon landing on Earth. The reason being is because they need an extra layer of protection which we see with the vehicle parts that double as body armor. Almost every robot did it in the first film except 1. Which was the Decepticon leader himself, Megatron. That's right while other robots scanned Earth based vehicles to hide in plain sight as well as cover up their exposed goodies. Megatron was baring it all. Meaning he basically fought the Autobots naked. Thankfully he was built to handle harsh conditions. As a matter of fact he's 1 of the few bots that can travel through space without an interstellar pod.
