Sometimes you forget how much today's technology helps, and it’s difficult to understand all the wiring that takes place almost automatically inside a DAW. But in the real world, you have to mess with the wires, scratch your head and think about the chain you have to create to make something work.
It’s been a while since I’ve thought about creating a track without using a computer. This track is a small Melodic Techno improvisation, with just the use of some hardware sound modules.
(To be honest, I’ve used Logic just to record the console output, so it’s not a 100% a DAWLESS night, but still... It’s a try…)
