We leave Hanle and ride towards Karzok — a quiet village resting on the shores of Tso Moriri, one of the most remote high-altitude lakes in Ladakh. The road takes us back to Loma Bridge and onwards to Nyoma, the last petrol pump before we re-enter Himachal Pradesh. From Nyoma, we continue to Mahe Bridge, where a smaller road cuts deep into the valley towards Sumdo. Beyond Sumdo, a thin ribbon of tarmac guides us straight to Karzok. As we approach the village, a sudden flash of blue appears between the mountains — the first glimpse of the serene waters of Tso Moriri.
