Guildford Railway Station first opened on the 5th May 1845 to mark the 180th Anniversary of the station being opened also celebrating Railway 200 (200 years of railways) Retired Railwayman and Historian Geoff Burch and Local Historian David Rose collaborated with many others to make this great Pop Up Exhibition inside of Guildford Station which took place 2 - 4 May 2025.
There was a lot to see inside this video covers most of the pictures and information which was on display. Many thanks to all who helped put on this wonderful exhibition to the public for free.
@andyg3 and I decided to do a whistle stop tour on his Half Size Steam Traction Engine to the Exhibition. The only steam whistle which can be heard round Guildford Nowadays.
