After the victories at Trenton and Princeton, General George Washington spent his 45th birthday encamped at Morristown, struggling to keep the army together in the face of disease and other challenges.
This video is part of a virtual President's Day celebration hosted by Valley Forge National Historical Park. Each video in this series features a snapshot of early United States history through the lens of what was happening on George Washington's birthday at various points in his life.
