Day 3: Bridges, Beaches & A Rainy Welcome to South Goa
We checked out from MirashyaHomes in Candolim with a mix of excitement and nostalgia, ready to head southward toward the calm shores of Agonda. The road trip itself was an experience — weaving through Goa’s monsoon-drenched roads, scenic villages, and lush greenery.

Our first stop was Panaji, where we were greeted by the stunning views of the newly constructed cable-stayed bridge — a modern contrast to Goa's old-world charm. We took a brief detour to admire the sweeping views of the Mandovi River, the iconic Casino ships, and the tranquil stretch of Miramar Beach.

Hunger kicked in soon after, and we had our hopes set on indulging in some crab at the well-known Angan Restaurant. Unfortunately, large crab wasn’t available that day — so we made a spontaneous switch and landed at Ritz Classic, always a reliable choice.

Fuelled by good food and great conversation, we continued our journey south. As we neared Agonda, the skies opened up and we were welcomed by a heavy monsoon downpour — dramatic and beautiful in its own way.
Late evening, we finally reached O2H Agonda Beach Resort, nestled right along the quiet beachside. The warm staff gave us a quick tour of the property — wooden cottages, sea views, and a serene vibe that felt worlds away from the bustle of North Goa.

Dinner was a cozy affair. With the rain softly drumming outside, we enjoyed a well-cooked meal at the resort’s restaurant, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Yellow Tail wine — the perfect way to wind down after a long drive.

🌧️✨ We ended the night listening to the waves crash under the moonlight, grateful for Goa’s magical transitions — from river views in Candolim to rain-kissed beaches in Agonda.
