For those who aspire to have a career as a vocalist to some capacity, it is worth considering what kind of voice you want to create for yourself. Depending on what type of vocalist you want to be, you will need different skills for those roles.
I get a lot of students who have taken inspiration from so many different genres and artists, predominantly those who wish to pursue a career in musical theatre yet have adopted many traits of a pop vocalist, and these skills don't align very well as I'll explain in this video.
