Contains the entire first half of this game which was played at Football Park. North Melbourne and Sturt both finished minor premiers and therefore did not have a game in the first week of the major round. Both clubs saw this as a disadvantage and therefore organised this "practice match". Sturt were very competitive in the first half before being run over-run in the second.
