STAAD Pro is powered with a feature known as the Mirror Command. As the name sounds this command is great for STAAD beginners to create a model in a very short time. This STAAD command comes in handy whenever you have an identical structure but flipped along any particular plane .If you are rotating beams about their longitudinal (that is, local x) axis, this is done by the Beta angle. This angle can be specified directly, in degrees, or you can specify the rotation using either any point or vector. Depending on which version you are using, this is done somewhat different in the UI.
