To make this adorable kindle sleeve you need to know how to SC and how to work in the round.

I am using US crochet terms.
Abbreviation chart:
CH – CHAIN STITCH
ST - STITCH, STS - STITCHES
SLST - SLIP STITCH
SC - SINGLE CROCHET
INC - SC 2 times in same ST
DEC (SC2TOG) - SC 2 STs together

Pattern:
Panel (make 2):
ch 30,
R1 - SC in 2nd ch from the hook and SC in each ST until end of row, ch 1, turn
R2 - R43 - SC in each ST around, ch 1, turn
fasten only 1 panel, for the other leave it as is to be able to SC the edges using the same yarn.
SC along 3 sides, fasten off and weave in all the ends.

Strawberry (make 4):
ch 2
R1 - SC 6 times in the 2nd ch from the hook
R2 - [SC 1, INC], 3 times, add stitch marker
R3 - [SC 2, INC], 3 times,
R4 - [SC 3, INC], 3 times,
R5 - [SC 4, INC], 3 times,
R6 - [SC 1, DEC], until end of round
R7 - DEC in all sts until end of round
fasten yarn and sew top of strawberry

Leaves (make 4):
ch 4, slst into 4th ch from hook to form ring
[ch 5, slst back into ring] - 4 times
fasten off, leave length of yarn to sew to top of strawberry

Vines:
ch 50, fasten off
ch 25, fasten off

Edging:
ch 32
Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch until end of row
[ch 5, SC ] - 3 times in same st, ch 4, skip 5 sts, sc in 6th st and repeat from until end of row, fasten off and sew to second row of the top.
