As you can see I am standing by our Chimp. Today is one of the only days you're gonna see me standing next to a Chimp and not actually cooking on it! We have some really cool stuff to announce today. I wanted to tell you all about our new Pimp my Chimp package. That is right -- it is ready! We talked about this about a month or so ago we really started making this simply as something that we could use at home for ourselves. Once we saw how cool it was and how much we use it, we really wanted to share it with everybody.

Alright everyone so we flipped our Chimp around -- we've got the first piece of our Pimp my Chimp package right in front of your eyes. This is the vent we built here, laser cut the logo right on into that steel piece. It's super easy to put on here. All you do unscrew the four handle screws, slide that vent in there, put it right back on with those same exact four screws, you use.

Now people asked right off the bat: you know it looks really cool, but what's the function? What are we actually getting out of this other than just the aesthetics? Well you're not gonna get any water buildup inside of this vent so that's one thing that you don't have to worry about. Also, smoke is now gonna be pushed out and away from your grill instead of right over this handle. It's possible that smoke could change the color of this handle over time or it could also get it a little bit warm when you go to grab it, so we wanted to make sure that nobody gets surprised by the warm handle. We put this guy on here as an optional accessory so that you guys can make sure that your handle stays nice cool and clean in the long run.

Next: this right here is our Chimp cord hanger. Now all you have to do to get this on is pull off a strip of adhesive, stick it to your grill for a good 30 seconds, let it dry for 24 hours, and you're done. Super-strong, not coming off unless you are really gonna be yanking on it. At one point during testing, we are actually able to lift the entire grill just holding on to that little cord hanger there.

Like I said at the beginning, this started out as something that was just for us at home. We weren't planning on selling it but after hearing that feedback we knew we had to get it on out to you guys. So thank you so much for that feedback!
